An art exhibition spotlighting women. The works featured in this exhibit are of varied styles from realism to abstract. They have been gathered from Mexico and from cities located across the United States. This exhibit includes 40 paintings by women artists and 50 examples of graphics, photography and embroidery based upon the theme of women. The La Mujer exhibit was assembled and sponsored by Movimiento Artistico Chicano (MARCH). This exhibit is partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
