We Choose Art and Mezz Gallery at the Montalbán Theatre, in collaboration with bG Gallery, is pleased to present “The Brown Oscars” by Artist Linda Vallejo. “The Brown Oscars” exhibition is on view to the public from February 27—March 12, 2018, with a special red carpet opening reception on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 7pm—10pm, and an Oscars after party on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 9pm—11pm (the artist will be present both evenings). Vallejo’s new body of work around the entertainment industry and its lack of diversity in casting emerged from a previous series titled, “Make ‘Em All Mexican” (#OscarsSoBrown). The Mezz Gallery at the Montalbán Theatre, is located at 1615 Vine St. Hollywood, CA. (Parking is available at 1627 Vine St. Hollywood, CA).
