An Annual Intercultural, Interdisciplinary Intergenerational Arts Happening with performance ofrendas (offerings) of music, spoken word, dance, artisans and vendors featuring all womxn and queer/trans people of color since 1997. This event is for, by and about & organized by the labor of WOC & QTWOC holisitic Artivists. A day of platicas (talks) about Mujeres de Maiz’s predecessors, work, lineage, spirit and politic featuring artists, academics, and elders.

The conversations featuring the guests listed below are guided by key topics and questions and are geared to getting to know the art, politic, and spirituaity around the Mujeres de Maiz movemynt and it’s predecessors and contemporaries.
